Having worked together for many years at Chrissie’s parent’s bakery in Silverdale, Tunbridge Wells, Mike & Chrissie Rusbridge opened the doors to the Rusbridge Bakery back in 1973.

For many years they lived in the flat above the shop with their sons Rob and Richard and when they began to outgrow their home, moved the family not too far away along to Yew Tree Road, welcoming a further two children Iain and Vikki to the family.

All of Mike and Chrissie’s children have worked in the business at some point over the years, but it’s Rob and Richard who having worked alongside their father for many years, continue to run the family business alongside their Mother Chrissie and Richard’s wife Caroline.

Sadly, Mike passed away back in 2015, but his community and family values that he so dearly cherished still remain to this day.
